Walea by Salon Glitter was one of the initial commercial establishments to launch at Howard Hughes 'A'ali'i at Ward Village in 2023. The salon was designed within a raw space, requiring the integration of a new building standard storefront and all surface finishes. Emphasizing a cost-conscious design approach was essential to ensure the salon opening without compromising the distinctive modern ambiance of a re-branded salon located in the meticulously detailed 'A'ali'i. This approach aimed to achieve a budget-conscious, light, airy, warm, and fresh yet intimate salon experience.
